Set up your first app

Updated October 15, 2026

Setup is six short steps. Your progress is saved after each one, so you can stop and come back.

  1. Connect your project. GitHub, a zip file or your AI tool. See Ways to connect your project.
  2. Check what we found. We read your project and show how it is built and what we add to make it a real app.
  3. Name and icon. The name shown under the icon and on your store page, a square icon of at least 1024 × 1024 pixels, and the App ID (like com.yourname.myapp). The App ID is locked after the first release, so pick it with care.
  4. Apple. Connect your App Store Connect key, or press I'll do this later to start with Android. See Publishing to the App Store.
  5. Google Play. Add a service account key so we can upload your app. See Connect Google Play.
  6. Create the app's page. The only manual step. Google asks the account owner to create the app in Play Console. See Create your app in Play Console.

When the checklist on your app's Builds tab is complete, press Start first build.

You need a plan to add an app. If you don't have one yet, the first step asks you to pick one.
