Review, drafts and internal testing
Updated October 14, 2026
After each build, your app's Builds tab says where the new version landed in Google Play.
Saved as a draft in Google Play
Google takes a new app's first release as a draft. StoreReady fills in the store listing with your builds (see Your store listing). In Play Console, answer the App content questions, check the store listing, then press Send for review.
Waiting for you in Google Play
Google Play asks for this app's changes to be sent for review by hand. In Play Console open Publishing overview and press Send for review.
Sent to internal testing
Google did not take the version for production yet, so we put it on your internal testing track. When your store page is ready, promote it to production in Play Console.
In review
Google is reviewing your app. Google decides how long a review takes, and a new app's first review can take longer than later updates.
