The StoreReady CLI

Updated October 14, 2026

Prefer the terminal? Run these in your project folder:

npx @storeready/cli login
npx @storeready/cli init
npx @storeready/cli connect google ./play-service-account.json
npx @storeready/cli publish

npx @storeready/cli help lists every command.

What leaves your computer

publish sends your project folder the way git sees it. .gitignore is respected, and node_modules, .git and build output are skipped. Files with secrets never leave: .env files, keystores, .p8, .p12 and .pem keys, and Google service account keys found in the folder. Public settings (VITE_, NEXT_PUBLIC_, EXPO_PUBLIC_, REACT_APP_) are copied from your .env files, because they end up inside the app anyway.

connect google sends your service account key to StoreReady, where it is stored encrypted. It never comes back to your computer.

Your sign-in is saved in ~/.config/storeready/session.json, readable only by you. npx @storeready/cli logout removes it.

The folder is linked to its app in .storeready.json. It holds no secrets and is safe to commit.

If your app builds from GitHub, a publish from the CLI sends your folder for that one build. The app keeps building from GitHub after that.
